Owners, Duffy and Jill have been together since 2002. Both have always loved art and being creative. Jill has done stained glass work off and on for 20 years and was able to teach Duffy the ins and outs of properly cutting and putting projects together. After taking a glass fusing class at their local stained glass supplier, they decided to spend more time fusing. They built a new home together in 2005 and included an art studio and a kiln. Duffy has spent the most time fusing glass since then, but Jill occasionally likes to fuse as well. Recently Jill picked up polymer clay as a hobby and has been spending most of her time creating various projects that range from amazing jewelry/key holders to fantastic photo albums and frames.
It has been and still is an amazing journey. Their products are developing and expanding. Both Duffy and Jill were in ArtPrize this year (2010) and Duffy was a top 100 ArtPrize artist in 2009. He was also top 25 most controversial as well. (For more information on ArtPrize, please see the link on the home page. You can also follow the link to Duffy’s YouTube video of his 2009 ArtPrize sculpture.)
Duffy and Jill love to travel, create and enjoy life. You can see this come through in their work and their personalities. We look forward to seeing them develop as artists and as friends. Stay tuned!
